CONGRATS.!!.....
nice ;) it looks a bit latino/jamaican/carribean kinda thing...(to me that is...pardon me if iam wrong...not very good at talking fashion;)....but the blue hemline (isnt what thats called)...and the fold at the waist(whts it called??) is a very nice touch...

also unique color combination...u like that green??

and chill abt the mistakes...they're always there...cant avoid them.;)

but me wondering why women stopped wearing skirts...hardly find any...they jus disappeared...!!

P.S: i.ve got the song from pukar u wanted....if ur online msn/yahoo...send an offine...will send it.;)

thank u! and we cant just stitch the skirt.. i needed a theme/inspiration. mine was the synthesis bet land and sea.. the skrits hem(yes u got it right;) represents the free flowing nature of the sea. while the scarf attachment at the waist denotes the structure of land.

second about why women stopped wearing skirts.. i DONT like skrits. they r uncomfortable acc to me.. but we had to make skirts the last sem so made this..

and thanks for getting the song.. u like it?

hmm....as i wrote on fortune cookies..."a lot of effort goes into making something look effortless"
and now that i know abt the theme thing....have to say...'good job'...although the scarf and land realtion,i cant relate...but the sea part is beautiful..and the color makes sense to me now...;)great going!

and the pukar song...like the part when the kids sing it...the chorus...
and theres one more song of rehmans which has kinda similar theme...from the movie 'sapnay' the one with kajol, prabhudeva and arvind swamy....callled "roushan hui raat"
its so serene and quiet...i like it for the feel rather than the lyrics....theres one more song from the same movie..."chanda re"..a very nice one.heard??

Never knew there could be so much interpretation to it.
If you designed a dress to represent freedom of spirit and soul, how would it look...Just a lil curious??
And I disliked skirts earlier but I think they rock!

hey.. freedom of the spirit and soul..? hmmm essentially both are free its we humans who tie them down. not thought about it..maybe something loose white.. or some pastel colours.. low neck.. sleevless..nothing restrictive/confining or tight

note this is my interpretation.. as i am writing this im thinking why cant the soul be colourfull .. why cant there be structure etc..etc..

life in general is a matter of perception.. this is one idea.. ;)
