hey no offence but it seems a bit pretentious continuing wt ths abstract object bullshit..i mean i know it feels real nice to take snaps of cat in yellow light or whatevr n then name it something equally complicated but if ur really into photography try a lil nature, people, u know, life..personally i think digicams kinda murdered photography by making it so accessible to evryone..add to that graphic designers n its a right mess..a photo shld say somethng on its own..just a thought.
none taken.. but honestly dont u think nature and like is a bit cliched?? i mean honestly i did not think of it as abstract obejct.. or anything.. its jus something tht catches my eye.. every photo does say something.. it just how u look at it..
question.. should everything say something? i mean they cant just exist..?
@rebellious: haha....nice pic ...hazy and blue...reminds me of nightvision or something like that.
btw ..is the text/pattern there, ur gonna use as pattern on ur cloth?? cant make out the whole word... what does it say??
@icy: icy yaar.lol..relax...photography is fun...let it be..
but i seriously disagree that digicams murdered photography.....its actually encouraged more ppl to turn to photography and get a hang of it.....and anyways...u thought filmreel based cameras were gonna stay forever??.....
and also photography is an art and like other forms not each photo has a universal appeal....some like it some dont....cant help it....its the artists wish to depict whatever he wants to...thats his creative freedom....nobody has a right to question it.....
@ sreicanth: its just the carbon paper.. was checking underneath to ensure the pattern was placed correct... and then to place it on the fabric to cut it out.. when i took the photo. and the word is jus the name of the carbon paper.. dont recall it though..
i dont think anythng need have a deeper meaning..i totally belive in mere existence..but its not really that wen u take a snap of something like that..i mean i dont know if u get wht im saying..wht im saying is..say u took a snap of somthng that just looks nice to ur eye..thats one thing..but taking snaps of somthng for the sake of existential beauty is quite another..as for nature..i say take all the snaps u can ..at the rate we're going our kids may well hav to look up old photographs to see what a tree looks like..
as for digicam thing..how wld u like it if evry yo-macha band in chennai started playing ur favourite bands songs?
@icy: lol. of course u'd feel bad..... but cant blame them...they TOO like it!! ...perhaps a bit more than u do.jus matter of perspective.(u hum them inside...while they wanna play it loud)
think bout it this way....how would the band feel when they hear u singing their songs??????
@ icy highs: honestly who creates these definitions? perspectives change person to person.. u see beauty in nature some one else finds beauty else where.. its in the eye of the beholder.. who said anything about existential beauty?? and exactly is ur point? the fact tht nature is the onyl true canvas? or the fact that abstract detracts the beauty from the real??
